After receiving the rating of each team following the results of her performance for the year, we began to look for information on the budget of each club.
This information is in most cases closed, but for two hundred football clubs and all the hockey clubs of the KHL it is open.
Next, we built a linear relationship between the club’s rating and its budget.
Based on this relationship, we calculated the expected value of the rating of each club based on its budget. And compared it with the actual one.
A more qualified coach promoted his club to higher ranking positions. These values were compared with the age of the mentors.
Unfortunately, among the hockey mentors there are practically no people under 40 years old. Therefore, we see a downtrend and do not see the peak itself.
